Over the past few years, the opening for spring sports has had horrific weather and they usually have to start inside, but this year is looking different.

   Recently, the weather has been all over the place and it has been especially snowy in these early months of 2021. With over 12 inches of snow during the month of February, there may be more to come during the month of March. However, lots of rain is forecasted for the coming weeks. There is a minimum of a 30% chance of rain throughout the week.

   For spring sports, that means muddy field conditions.

   “I’m excited for it to be warmer,” freshman Lexi Wallace said.
