Many people believe that there are such things as “fainting goats”. Some of you might believe there is such a thing as fainting goats. Well I’m here to tell you there’s not. While there is a breed called the “Fainting goat” the goat does not actually faint. These goats are born with a congenital condition called myotonia congenita also known as Thomsen’s disease. That causes the goats muscle in there legs to seize up causing them to fall over. Many people believe that the goats actually faint while they just fall over. While I know someone who owns goats they have never had any goats with this “fainting goat” condition.
