Do you like coffee? Do you like Dippin’ Dots? Are those even questions?
The founder of Dippin’ Dots, Curt Jones, created another company- but with coffee. 40 Below Joe is frozen coffee and creamer in little beads, similar in appearance to Dippin’ Dots. 40 Below Joe selects the coffee beans, brews them, then freezes them into the beaded form. The creamers are made with coconut or almond milk so it is dairy free, and the coffee has espresso in it. Java lovers can enjoy it cold right out of the packaging, or by adding hot water for a more traditional cup of coffee.
There are creamer flavors including: Vanilla, French Vanilla, Mocha, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut. There are also seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha. There’s even a variety of different coffee roasts, including Columbian, Costa Rican, Ethiopian, and the House blend. Coffee is packaged in to-go cup packs or in bags.
The downside is that the product is on the pricier side. I ordered the variety pack and I paid almost $40 for 6 cups of the coffee, and I expected the cups to be a little bit bigger for how much they cost. There also is not a decaf option at this time. Also, if you do not like coffee, you will probably not enjoy the product because there is real coffee in it.
The upside is that everything else about the product is great! I ordered it on October 9, my order shipped October 14, and I received my package on October 15. From the time I ordered it to the time I received the package was only 6 days. It was shipped with dry ice and more cooling protection, and it stayed in the beaded form. 40 Below Joe published a guarantee that if a product is melted upon delivery, there would be a refund or replacement order. I love how unique this product is and it tastes amazing! If you enjoy coffee, I definitely recommend 40 Below Joe.
