“At first I thought students weren’t gonna like it because that basically means we’re meeting half as much, but most of the students that we have this year they seem more interested in coming once a week anyway,” Justin Bellows, the sponsor of OGRE, said. “I think it shows us that meeting twice a week may be too much and a little unnecessary, and we wouldn’t have learned that without Covid.”

Bellows is the proud founder of the OGRE (Order of Gaming Ridiculousness and Excitement) club. They mostly host D&D campaigns, although the group is also up for trying any kind of card or board game.

Despite Covid, OGRE actually began to grow and thrive as they began to find their groove. They meet in the library after school on Wednesdays and Fridays. They have amazing Dungeon Masters that try their hardest to have a fun and interesting campaign.
