Sophomore Kenny Thompson is playing his second year of varsity football. This season, he made several interceptions and also provided a large amount of crucial blocks leading to big plays that contributed to wins.

“It was pretty cool to ‘flat back’ a few kids,” Thompson said.

Coach Paul Day noticed Kenny’s hard work and passion for the game.

“Coach told me that this versatility means I can become a ‘positionless player’,” Thompson said. 

Thompson is also known for his support to his teammates, on and off the field.
